Apr 8, 2022 · All Jeep Cherokees manufactured between 2013 – Present-day with a 2.0, 2.4, or 3.2L engine use regular gasoline with an octane level of 87. Some 2.4L engines are flexible fuel vehicles which means they can also run on E-85. Premium fuel is not recommended since it has no benefits over regular gasoline for the Cherokee.
May 8, 2019 · I just traded my 2015 GC diesel in to a non-FCA dealer for another car. The past 12 months has been a disaster for the Jeep. It had 77K miles on it, and spent 12 weeks in service last summer. It had failed on the road and was towed in, and the magnets on the crankshaft position sensor (tone bell?) had fallen apart.

Jan 22, 2012 · I consider XJ's to be very reliable and they get pretty good MPG. Eventually I will be lifting 2 of 3, drop the gearing and throw on bigger meats.
